Welcome to ICOEO-2020

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is a great privilege to extend my invitation to all of you to International Congress on Optics, Electronics, and Optoelectronics 2020 (ICOEO-2020), which will be held during Nov. 4-6, 2020 in Chengdu, China. The theme for this year’s congress is “Advances in Optics, Electronics, and Optoelectronics”. The event has been conceptualized as an international academia exchange meeting dedicated to the professionals in this field.

ICOEO-2020 will bring under a common umbrella, three major topics: Optics, Electronics, and Optoelectronics. It will provide a unique platform for scientists across geographies to share their insights on emerging challenges in Laser, Optics and Photonics, Electronic Components and Technology, and Optoelectronic Devices and Integration. We believe that the upcoming congress will address these issues and help us to bridge the gap between different research interests while enabling to work towards a consensus target.

The Three-day long agenda has been scheduled to have programs covering keynote Forum, Breakout Sessions, Young Scientists Forum, Poster and Exhibition, University and Industry Park Visits, etc. The congress is aimed to provide a perfect place to meet and discuss innovation, challenges and opportunities to promote the development of this field.

Chengdu, a city with longstanding history and civilization, is the hometown of giant panda. It is also renowned for its fertile land and agricultural wealth, which have earned the city the nickname "Storehouse of Heaven". The hot-spicy cuisine and authentic teahouse culture have become the integrated part of local people's life. You are welcomed to feast your eyes on beautiful natural scenery and historic attracts, and experience the relaxing and slow life pace here outside of the meeting.
