Brief Introduction to Xiamen
Xiamen, a sub provincial city and special economic zone, is located in the southeast of Fujian Province. It is said that it was the habitat of egrets in ancient times, so it is also called " Egret Island". In the "ranking list of comprehensive competitiveness of Chinese cities" released in early 2002, Xiamen ranked fifth. Xiamen has a deep cultural heritage.
